The Dark Covenant (working title)
The Dark Covenant is set in the same fictional world as The Invitation. It picks up the story several months after The Invitation ended. We begin in the neighbouring country of Nicadair and meet the flamboyant Jolo and a mysterious Mage from the dessert Country of Belthane in the East. Rush and Thea continue to work with those in the Underground to bring down the corrupt High Council of Anacadair while in exile in Nicadair. The Anacadair guard and Watchers are still searching for them, but will they cross the border into Nicadair, risking encounters with the Nicadair guards?

"I thought the way you wove the three ladies around each other was brilliant. Thea was such a brilliant character. Loved the way each woman showed how women are unfairly treated and the struggles they have to be equal to men. How your roots and class are so influential. I would love to read more about Amelie. From growing up with Rush. I did wonder if Zillah would have a story? The view of a woman who knew her role and respected her husbands wishes.(today's woman would struggle here) Wanted tradition to continue. For her, she loved the life it gave her? Being a respectful wife in a high society. Not wanting to question as her life would become harder. Forgive me if I am jumping the gun. But wanted to get across the engagement the book creates. I love a book that makes you think. Beautifully written."
